2019, speculative fiction



Deep Skin is a speculative design project that proposes how bio- and nanotechnology can be used to help people redesign their appearances. Through a process of in-situ biofabrication using DNA to create specific structures on hydrogels, the user is able to programmatically change her appearances easily and rapidly.
