Olfactory, 2020
Olfactory imagines a near-future in which human scent is lost due to toxic air—and proposes a system for collecting, storing, and sharing memories through smell. The project examines sensory memory, material interfaces, and embodied archives, presented through video, performance, and tangible prototypes.
Created in three weeks in collaboration with Kaiwen Tao for Parsons x UC Boulder’s Elastic Spaces. Camera work by Jenny Liu.
